It’s like he just randomly arranged these tracks. The emotional pacing of the tracklist is off. Overall, it’s a very hit or miss project. The thing closes on “Purity”, and Frank murders Rocky on his own beat, not a shocker. The production on the second half of the track is quality, but this song is carried by ASAP’s passion. “Changes” doesn’t bang or anything like that, but it’s just a pretty song at times. “Hun43rd”, I’m going to be honest, I don’t even remember that song or “Black Tux, White Collar”. That Blocboy feature is the best on the whole project, and that beat is FILTHY.Ī lot of people won’t like “Kids Turned Out Fine”, but I think it’s kinda cool. “OG Beeper” is easily the best song of these five. “Brotha Man” is mid as hell, despite a Frank Ocean appearance. “Gunz N Butter” was okay, but Rocky and Juice Man have had better collabs. “Buck Shots” beat just isn’t there, and though no one is said to feature on it, it sounds like ASAP either featured Nav or did his best Nav impression on the second half. The next 5 songs, starting with “Drop$”, are a roller coaster in themselves. Theeeeennnnnn, that’s when it starts going downhill, and it’s going fast. ASAP is showing some more range on this project while also giving us the bars we so desperately crave.

The first 5 songs on this project are good. None of the songs sound anywhere close to the same, for better or worse. International delivery dates will vary and will not arrive on release day. Testing might be the most appropriate name for this album because there’s a lot of experimentation for the Rock Man on this project. orders will deliver on or around April 22. At long last, ASAP Rocky is back, and he’s dropped this Testing album on our heads just in time for the summer.
